These eight wooden dummy nest eggs give a chicken coop a simple visual cue that helps signal a safe, familiar place to lay. The brown finish blends naturally with straw and shavings, so the set sits comfortably in a nesting box without drawing unnecessary attention from the flock.

Each piece is made of wood, giving the set a solid feel that stays in place better than lightweight fillers. The eight-count pack suits multiple nesting boxes at once or allows a few spares to rotate between coops, making it easy to keep consistent cues across the laying area.

Placed in a nest before hens begin laying, the dummy eggs can help discourage floor eggs and guide birds toward the boxes you want them to use. The wooden construction wipes clean and holds up to regular handling in an active coop environment.
